This policy explains what information Mint Ebooks handles, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Mint Ebooks provides an AI-assisted workspace for planning, drafting, designing, and exporting ebooks. This policy applies to the Mint Ebooks website, account area, book studio, and related support communications (the “Service”).

Information we collect
Account information
We collect information used to create and secure your account, such as your email address, display name, sign-in method, and authentication records. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the basic account information Google makes available for authentication.
Book and project content
We process the information you add to a project, including titles, topics, audiences, tone and style instructions, outlines, chapters, notes, cover prompts, generated artwork, edits, and export settings.
Usage and subscription information
We keep records about plan status, credit use, project activity, and feature use. Stripe processes payments and may provide us with customer, subscription, invoice, transaction, and payment-status information. Mint Ebooks does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
Technical and support information
When you use the Service, we and our infrastructure providers may process device, browser, network, IP address, request, error, security, and diagnostic information. If you contact us, we collect your message and any details or attachments you choose to send.
How we use information
We use information to:
- create and secure accounts and keep you signed in;
- generate outlines, chapters, cover art, and publication files at your direction;
- save, display, edit, and export your projects;
- manage plans, credits, payments, renewals, and billing support;
- send sign-in links, service messages, and support replies;
- operate, troubleshoot, protect, and improve the Service; and
- comply with law, enforce our terms, and prevent fraud or misuse.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where we ask for it.
AI processing
Mint Ebooks sends the instructions and project context needed for a requested generation to Cloudflare Workers AI. This processing is used to return the outline, manuscript text, or cover image you ask for and to operate the related product feature.
Do not submit confidential information, sensitive personal data, or third-party content unless you have the right and a clear reason to use it in the Service.
Retention and security
We retain account and project information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Billing records, backups, and operational logs may follow different retention cycles.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect access to your email account and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority.
To make a request, email hello@mintebooks.com from the address connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal; cancellation does not itself delete your account or projects.
International processing
Mint Ebooks and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, transfers are handled using contractual, organizational, or other safeguards recognized by applicable law.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Users must also meet the eligibility requirements in our Terms and Conditions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when reasonably required.
