QUICK ANSWERS

Common questions, clearly answered.

Open a question for the next step. If the answer does not solve it, email us and mention what you already tried.

01

Sign-in & account

My magic link has not arrived. What should I do?

Wait a minute, then check Spam, Promotions, and All Mail for a message from Mint Ebooks. Make sure you entered the correct address and request one new link. Only the newest link should be used.

Why did my sign-in link expire?

Magic links are intentionally short-lived for security. Return to the sign-in page and request a fresh link using the same email address.

Will I lose my books if I sign in on another device?

No. Your projects are attached to your Mint Ebooks account, not a single browser or device. Sign in with the same email address to open your library.

02

Writing & credits

How are credits used?

A complete outline uses 3 credits, original cover artwork uses 4 credits, and 1 writing credit creates up to roughly 500 words. The exact amount can vary with the requested output.

What happens if generation stops?

Refresh the project and check whether the outline or chapter was saved before trying again. If credits were charged but no usable content appears, email support with the book title and approximate time of the attempt.

Can I change the audience, tone, or outline?

Yes. You can update the project settings and edit the outline or manuscript. Review those changes before generating more chapters so the next draft follows the right direction.

03

Covers & saved projects

Where are my saved books?

Open your library after signing in. Select a book to return to its manuscript, outline, cover, and export tools.

Can I regenerate a cover?

Yes. Open the project in the studio and use the cover controls to create another direction. Each new cover generation uses credits.

What should I include when reporting a project problem?

Send the email address on your account, the book title, what you expected, what happened instead, and a screenshot if one helps explain the issue. Never send a password or magic-link code.

04

Export & publishing

Which formats can I download?

Mint Ebooks exports PDF, EPUB, and DOCX. PDF is suited to fixed-layout reading and lead magnets, EPUB to ebook stores and reading apps, and DOCX to continued editing.

My export did not download. What should I try?

Allow downloads for mintebooks.com, confirm the manuscript contains at least one completed chapter, and try the export again. If it still fails, tell support which format and device you used.

Is every export automatically accepted by KDP?

Mint Ebooks prepares professional publication files, but marketplace approval still depends on the retailer’s current content, formatting, cover, and disclosure requirements. Always preview the uploaded file before publishing.

05

Plans & billing

When do credits refresh?

Monthly plan credits refresh with your subscription cycle. Unused included credits do not replace the next cycle’s allowance.

How do I change or cancel a plan?

Open billing from your account and use the secure billing portal to manage your subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not delete your books.

Where can I get help with a charge?

Email hello@mintebooks.com from the address connected to your account. Include the charge date and plan name, but do not send full card details.

STILL STUCK?
